to today’s episode of Heal Talk Tuesday with Liza.
It’s so good to be here with you, isn’t it?
How are you doing?
Well, today we’re going to deep dive into something that is very close to my heart.
Of course, every time that I speak, it’s very much about the mind body and the soul.
I practice more of the soul, mind, body and
emotions because I believe the soul gives the message.
It’s the heart and soul, right?
It gives the message to the mind where the
mind commands the body and the body responds
to everything.
So today is, it’s so going to be very impactful and a short method.
Did you know that today is Jackie Robinson’s
day and for those of you who do not know Jackie
Robinson, he was famous, famous baseball player.
So wow, baseball, sorry, I’m stuck in here.
Wow, baseball is not one of my favorite baseball like sports.
I know so much about it because I used to work
with few clients who came in here to become
better players.
Especially when it was about the swing, right?
Especially kids in baseball fields and in their professional part.
So while baseball is not my go-to, I believe
it doesn’t have to be because a heart surgeon
does not have to have a heart problem to do surgery on a heart.
So did you know that hypnosis and guided
visualization is often used by athletes, especially
like baseball players, gymnasts, golfers, even target shooting and swimmers?
So I think guided visualization is one of the
things that most athletes use, but it is not diverse, it is not known.
So it’s all about focus and confidence,
unlocking the inner power to perform at its best or at their best.
So how does this happen?
Well, think about hypnosis, it’s not just a
deep relaxation, it’s about tapping into the power of the subconscious mind.
Now imagine like it is your internal GPS or
navigator and without it, you don’t go to places
to the place you want.
So it’s just like a car with no map trying
to find your way to get to where you want and
you get lost in the process.
But when the subconscious mind is aligned with
your conscious goals, then it’s like having
the perfect route and that it’s already planned
and you follow and you get exactly where it is.
Just athletes before they go into their
competition, if you see they’ve got a headphone,
they’re listening into something, their eyes are closed and they’re visualizing.
Even in the Olympics, divers used to use the same thing.
It’s visualizing, specially synchronized diving.
They have this acute training and diving at
the same time, doing the same positions at the same time.
So it’s all visualization and it is all timing, right?
Just like a piano player that listens to the timing that it goes.
I used to be a bowler.
So when I would get up there, it is not only
knowing how to bow, how to glide the ball.
It’s how the positioning, the positioning of the body, mine was sideways.
Some people do it straight.
Most bowlers go into what we call the butterfly.
So it’s understanding yourself, your body and how the fingers move.
Everything has to be in sync.
Now in order for the ball to go, not only it’s about the ball, it’s about where it’s
going because once you roll it, you roll the ball, it’s out of your hand, right?
But everything before that is knowing exactly
where the ball is going to hit to the pin,
the side of the pin, how it’s going to glide in order for us to have a strike.
There was a time long ago that I used to be on 18 and four nights a week.
I was at the bowling alley.
That’s right.
Four nights a week.
I was so good that at one point my book average was 182.
This was long time ago.
If I were to go bowling now, most probably I won’t hit 182 until I warm up to that.
That’s a lot of bowling for my body to get used to it.
Then once I have my groove, because once you have it, you can’t not have it.
It becomes an automatic response.
Your body responds to everything that you already know.
It’s ingrained consciously and subconsciously.
Here’s the thing.
When I’m saying auto ingrained, it’s like that auto response.
Because muscle has memory.
This is why hypnosis can be incredibly beneficial.
Excuse me.
Whether you’re an adult or a teenager
struggling with anxiety, fear factor, self-bout.
Especially adults facing this fear of failure.
Some teens do as well.
Whether you’re gearing up for a big presentation,
because I’ve heard and I know that speaking
is one of the most anxiety-creating things that there is fear of speaking in public.
Or even preparing to pass a crucial test like medcap, securities, bar examination.
I’ve helped so many people come to me for medcap, securities and bar.
I had a client who I’ve said this, shared this years and years ago.
I’m talking about 15 years ago that his father was partner in a law firm.
His grandfathers was the founder of the law firm.
Of course, he was aligned to be the next and
up-and-coming senior partner in the law firm.
So he had to make junior partner first and then go higher, right?
It was already practicing.
But for his life, for the life of his or the
life of me, however we’re saying he could not pass the bar.
He had taken the bar exam four times.
It came with how is it possible?
His father could not understand it.
He had tutors.
He was taking the bar exam, the exam, the preparation before taking the bar exam.
He would just go and not pass it.
He would study it. He knew it.
He’s been practicing.
But he still could not pass the bar.
His passion, everything about him, he would say, “I’m a musician.
I’m doing law for the sake of my father and grandfather.”
So we came to an agreement.
He was referred to me by another client.
We came to an agreement and it was how bought.
We worked together.
After a few sessions, you go take the bar exam again.
At this time, the answers were not coming this fast.
You know, taking the bar and everything.
So he came.
We did hypnosis about four or five sessions and then he went a month and a half later.
He took the bar exam and he passed with flying collars.
There was a bar agreement, well, his agreement
was with me, helped me pass the bar so
that I can show them that I can do this, that I do not want to practice.
He dreaded going to court.
He dreaded doing all the interrogatories and everything.
He just, his heart was not in practicing as an
attorney and all he wanted to do is play music.
He did, he gave the papers to his father and grandfather.
They were so proud of him.
They had a whole big huge celebration and then
he told them that he’s leaving the law firm.
So he can follow his dream of music.
Years later, he did come back to the law
but for four years, he went to Europe and he
was in classical music and was with a different
band and concerts and Vienna and everything else.
So you see sometimes you can push hard in what
it is that expectations, but if your heart
and soul is not there, the subconscious mind
will not take you to where you are aligned to be.
So I’ve worked with many clients and I can say
you no longer need to be a prisoner of stress, worry or even self-bout.
Whether you’re an athlete, a student or a
professional, what we do through hypnotherapy,
working with hypnosis is align you what I call mindset reset from the core.
So the heart and soul are very much aligned
so that you can focus on what it is that you
truly desire and what is the focus of the positive outcome.
We, I say we together, we train your subconscious
mind to perform what it is that needs.
To be by engaging in hypnosis, the mind
embraces this idea that success is not something
only out there that you too can have it.
You see, I’ve been practicing for over 24 years.
This is my heart and soul, this is the work
that I do and every day I’ve got clients that
come in here when they say this is what I want.
It’s not always what you want, but what is
needed is that internal GPS to align to what you want.
So here’s a testimonial, I had to dig and get you a testimonial.

and take the bricks away so that you can see through the bricks.
So you can take the bricks.
It’s all about visualization.
Sometimes you start the brick, take the bricks
away and you can see through it, you can see where you want to go.
Again, kind of visualization is an amazing tool for you to see where you want to go.
Right?
It’s just when you want to go on a vacation,
you probably want where you want to go,
what hotel you want to go, where is the destination?
And then once you have that, you start
booking your trip, your book and then you see
what airline, what times you want to travel and
who do you want to go with because everything is about the experience.
Something that hypnosis is a tool that we tap
into the subconscious to create the clarity,
to create the calm and help you get from A to Z.
The return in your investment is having what it is that you want.
And that’s what I help you with.
